INITIAL CONSULTATION
As a first step, we encourage you to visit our 3,000-sq.-ft. showroom at 845 Sullivan Avenue in South Windsor. We're open from 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; Thursdays from 8:30am - 7:00pm; and Saturday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. When you're ready, one of our designers will be happy to spend some time consulting with you on the scope and look of your project. It is best to set up an appointment with a designer for your first visit so you will be assured dedicated time. Plan to bring with you any materials that would be helpful, including home plans, dimensions, pictures of your existing space, and pictures of what you like. There is no fee for an intial consultation in the showroom. At this meeting, we will gain insight into the nature and scope of your project by discussing factors such as design motifs, themes, materials to be used, timeline and the general budgetary parameters. We will also be able to provide you with a price range based on the scope of the project you describe and the products you select.
After this meeting, like other design professionals, we ask for a retainer before proceeding. The amount of the retainer will depend on the scope of your project, and will be applied toward your final cost.
DESIGN PHASE
During the design phase all selected components come together with floor plans, wall elevations and a 3-dimensional image to assist the client in visualizing the actual space. Revisions are prepared if necessary. Products are selected and finishing elements such as door styles, hardware, counter top material, appliances, plumbing fixtures, stone vs. tile layouts, vanties, and glass enclosures are all incorporated into the design
INSTALLATION
Once the project is accepted and approved, a contract that includes the pricing, detailed project description and finalized design plans is prepared and signed. The product delivery is scheduled and we coordinate with our in-house consultants, project managers and field personnel to execute the renovation and installation.
